Jagir Singh Jagtar, the current guardian of the world, has passed away eternally after completing his worldly journey. Before the Central Punjabi Writers' Sabha (Sekhon), he has been the Assistant Secretary and Vice President of the joint Central Punjabi Writers' Sabha, apart from this he was also the President of the Writers' Sabha Barnala. His theoretical and qualitative contribution has been to the Barnala School of Poetry. He had been ill for a long time. Even till his death, he continued to work as the chief editor of a weekly journal named "Journalist and Samaj". Many books were published under his editorship including Sant Ram Udasi's two poetry collections "Kamiyan Da Vehra" and "Delhiye Dyala Sekha" which Jagtar ji published after the demise of Sant Ram Udasi. The works done by him in the social and literary field cannot be overlooked. Jangir Singh Jagtar was a distinguished journalist, thinker, writer, columnist, social worker in the field of journalism.
          He was the flag bearer of people's movement and struggle for social change against looting, injustice, discrimination, communalism, fascist terrorism, looting of imperial and desi carport houses.
