Garhshankar - Babbar Akali Memorial Khalsa College Garhshankar conducted a voter awareness program under the leadership of Acting Principal Lakhwinderjit Kaur by NSS and Red Ribbon Club of the college. On this occasion, under the leadership of in-charge Ashok Puri, Bahurang Kala Manch presented a street play called 'Jago Votar Jago'.
On this occasion, the stage artists made the young students aware of the importance of voting and encouraged them to use their vote properly for the progress of the country. On this occasion, Sweep Nodal Officer Sohan Lal, Assistant Sweep Nodal Officer Balveer Singh were specially present. Dr. Arvinder Kaur, in-charge of Red Ribbon Club of the college, Dr. Arvinder Singh, program officer of NSS, Prof. Naresh Kumari made the students aware about the right to vote. On this occasion, Dr. Janaki Aggarwal thanked the drama team and invited the students to take guidance from the drama. On this occasion, students were given an oath to vote.
