Garhshankar: April 28: Sudhir Kumar Chadha, a native of village Kitna in tehsil Garhshankar, son of late Lala Ved Prakash Chadha, who is known for various social welfare schemes in his area, is currently filling the soil in the village school, Shaheed Sarwan Das Government Middle School. 
During the rainy season, children and teachers often had to face a lot of trouble due to water accumulation in front of the school playground and rooms. To get rid of this problem, Sudhir Chadha is doing this auspicious work, which is being highly appreciated by the villagers.
Sudhir Chadha's family had settled in Gandhi Nagar, Delhi many years ago. Today, he is a successful businessman and is running a magnificent showroom under the name of Chadha Garments LLP in the cloth market of Gandhi Nagar. Despite his business engagements in Delhi, Himachal and many other places, he has always been connected with his native village area. 
Like every year, on April 21, he distributed stationery and bags to all the children of this school. Apart from this, he has also constructed a shelter for bus passengers on the bridge of the village. His family has also done the service of installing marble in the langar hall of the village Gurdwara Sahib. The Chadha family is also known in the area for financially helping the poor and needy.
