Kharar: 23rd December - Ayurvedic Medical Officer Dr. Kritika Bhanot made a special visit to Government High Smart School of village Radyala in Kharar today.
He had a special interaction with the school girls. After paying homage to the martyrdom of the Sahibzades and Guru Sahib's family and other warriors, Dr. Kritika Bhanot told these girls in detail about adolescence and the various problems related to it.
The adolescent girls were explained what changes occur in the body at this age and how to deal with them properly. The doctor told the students important points regarding their personal health and hygiene and also emphasized that nutritious food is very important at this age. Adolescents should avoid eating junk foods and eating packed salty and other ready-made foods as much as possible.
During this seminar organized in a room, the female students informed the doctor about their problems and questions and got answers by discussing many issues. Dr. Kritika promised that next year too she would come to address the girl students as she finds so much peace and satisfaction in coming to this school.
