Deputy District Education Officer Elementary Education Amandeep Sharma and District Coordinator Text Books Rajnish Kumar Guliani were also present on the occasion.
During this, she reached the relief center set up in Government High School Miani Halka Tanda, where many families have taken safe shelter. She met the people present there, listened to their problems and informed them about the efforts being made by the administration.
Among the families living in the relief camps, she especially encouraged the students of Government Middle School Abdullahpur. Giving a message to keep the flame of education alive even in adverse situations like floods, Mrs. Arora presented books, copies, pens and other educational materials to the children.
She explained to the children that difficult times do not last forever, but rather they are a test of a person’s courage and self-confidence. Encouraging the children, she said that education is the only tool that gives the power to come out of every crisis. She appealed to the students not to consider these situations as a weakness, but to learn from it and work harder.
She said – “No matter how many challenges you face in life, if you have a passion for education and progress in your mind, then no difficulty can stand in your way.”
Deputy District Education Officer Elementary Education Amandeep Sharma assured that the Education Department will not allow any kind of hindrance in the education of the children and will provide all possible support if needed.
This initiative of the Education Department brought smiles back to the faces of the children and a new hope was awakened in the minds of the parents.
