Kolkata- Over 90 flights were cancelled and around 100 flights were delayed at Kolkata airport today due to heavy rain, causing huge inconvenience to passengers. Normal life in the metropolis was affected due to waterlogging across the city. Around 42 incoming and 49 outgoing flights were cancelled at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport due to incessant rain, low visibility and bad weather.
This information has been shared by the AOCC (Airport Operations Control Centre). Apart from this, 33 incoming and 62 outgoing flights were delayed.
