Hoshiarpur- Local Government Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab government has started a historic initiative, under which now every Punjabi will be provided free treatment up to Rs 10 lakh. Dr. Ravjot Singh said that the Mann government has a clear vision that no Punjabi will have to face financial crisis due to lack of treatment.
 The benefit of this scheme will not only be available to the poor but to people of all classes. Be it a government hospital or a listed private hospital, this facility will be made available everywhere.
The Cabinet Minister said that the government has started major reforms in the health sector. Along with ensuring modern machines, appointment of specialist doctors and availability of medicines in Aam Aadmi Clinics, government hospitals, this new health security scheme will take health services to new heights.
He said that this step will prove to be a milestone in improving the living standards of Punjabis. Through this scheme, lakhs of families will get relief from expensive treatment and people will be able to get their treatment done without any worries.
Dr. Ravjot Singh said that the government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has continuously taken concrete steps towards fulfilling the promises made to the public. 'Mukham Mantri Sehat Bima Yojana' is a living example of this, which will prove to be decisive in making Punjab a prosperous and healthy state.
