Awareness was raised about safety, health, first aid, cyber security at village Gharama.

Patiala 16 September:- Punjab Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh and Civil Surgeon Patiala Dr. Jagpal Inder Singh are making war-like efforts to make the people of the district healthy, safe and disease-free. Chief Trainer of First Aid, Safety, Health Awareness Mission and Retired Training Supervisor of Red Cross Shri Kaka Ram Verma has also been encouraged to make the people and students aware.

As per the instructions of the Punjab Government, knowledgeable, experienced scholars are being invited to village Gharama Kalan to make the children, youth and villagers aware about health, well-being, safety, protection, help, progress, prosperity and literacy.
Mr. Kaka Ram Verma informed the villagers about health care, heart attacks, cardiac arrest, fainting, shock, low blood sugar, rabies, cholera, diarrhea, dengue, electric current, fires, gases, proper use of electricity, fast food, junk food, cold.
Assistant Police Station Officer Ram Sharan of Punjab Police Traffic Education Cell gave information about traffic rules, laws, principles, duties, misuse of vehicles by minors, drugs, crimes, cyber security, help line numbers and the services being provided by the police administration for the protection, rescue, help of citizens and assistance to victims during accidents.
Panchayat members, elders and youth appreciated the efforts of Om Prakash. While thanking the guests, he said that this is the first time such information has been shared in the village. For which he also thanked the Civil Surgeon Patiala.
