Awareness against drugs by the Government of India is a commendable step - Upkar Singh.

Patiala:- Deputy Commissioner Prati Yadav ji's Nisa Nirdesh DSO, Civil Surgeon led by Nasa Mukt Bharat Abhiyan Ministry of Social Justice and Improvement Government of India organized a meeting to create awareness against drugs at the taxi stand near the old bus stand of Patiala.

Patiala:- Deputy Commissioner Prati Yadav ji's Nisa Nirdesh DSO, Civil Surgeon led by Nasa Mukt Bharat Abhiyan Ministry of Social Justice and Improvement Government of India organized a meeting to create awareness against drugs at the taxi stand near the old bus stand of Patiala.
A meeting was held to create awareness against drugs in collaboration with the Drug Detoxification Center, Sekate Hospital and Gyan Jyoti Education Society Patiala.
In which about 50-60 taxi owners and drivers, Councilor Amarjit Kaur, Parminder Verma, Jasprit Singh Sandhu and Upkar Singh made people aware against drugs and said that the youth are spoiling their lives by getting trapped in the gang of drugs. Therefore, to get them out of drugs, youth should also be counseled. And they should be admitted for treatment in government drug rehabilitation centers. Here their treatment is done free of cost.
On this occasion, a play against drugs was presented by Tamasa Art Theater, whose director, Sunny Sunil Sidhu, artist Ravinder Singh, Ripan Khullar gave a good presentation and the people applauded and enjoyed it. Gurmeet Singh, Raj Kumar Pintu, Manjit Kaur, Balwinder Kaur, social worker, Narinder Sharma also participated on this occasion.
