Una, August 7- Draft lists of existing polling stations have been published for amendment in the existing polling stations/creation of new polling stations in the five assembly constituencies of Una district, namely 41-Chintpurni (SC), 42-Gagret, 43-Haroli, 44-Una and 45-Kutlahar. The Deputy Commissioner said that these lists have been published for the information of the general public under the provisions contained in clause 25 of the Representation of the People Act 1951.
The draft list of polling stations will be available for inspection free of cost here
Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal said that the lists of polling stations published in the draft will be available for inspection by the general public free of cost in the offices of District Election Officer Una, Electoral Registration Officer (SDM) and Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (Tehsildar/Naib Tehsildar). He said that the draft of the list of these polling stations can be inspected on any working day.
The Deputy Commissioner said that if there is any claim or objection related to the list of polling stations, then it can be submitted in the office of District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Una by August 13.
