Patiala- Sadar Samana Police had registered FIR No. 127, dated 04.07.2023 on the basis of statements of Sandeep Kaur wife of late Satnam Singh resident of Sahajpur Kalan Tehsil Samana. In which Sandeep Kaur had accused Gurpreet Singh son Ishar Singh resident of village Mahmadpur Khurd Police Station Sadar Samana that the said person has raped my minor daughter Komal age 15 years.
Accused Gurpreet Singh is a neighbor, when I came to my house from work, Gurpreet Singh was raping my daughter and he pushed me and ran away. Mandeep Kaur had also told in her statements to the police that Gurpreet Singh had dragged her daughter Komal to another room.
After which, a case was registered by Sadar Samana Police Station under Section 376/506 IPC Section 4 (POCSO Act). The complainant could not produce any concrete evidence. Hon'ble Navdeep Kaur Gill, Additional Sessions Judge, Patiala accepted the arguments of Advocate Harpreet Singh Sodhi and acquitted the accused Gurpreet Singh.
