A meeting of the governing body of the Confederation of Greater Mohali was held

SAS Nagar, 5th September Confederation of Greater Mohali Resident Welfare Association Regd. The meeting of the Governing Body of Mohali was held under the chairmanship of Krishna Kumar Saini. Bachan Singh Boparai was appointed as the general secretary of the organization due to the resignation of general secretary Prashotam Chand during the meeting. The issue of rain water drainage was important in the meeting. On this occasion, Rupinder Kaur Nagra and Bachan Singh Boparai objected to the pumps installed permanently to drain water from Phase 3 and Phase 7, saying that due to these pumps water flows into the houses of the residents of Sector 71. In the meeting, the local administration and the Punjab government were requested to resolve this issue firmly.

The issue of not taking care of leveling while carpeting the roads also came up in the meeting. Along with this, there was a demand to construct roads as per the requirement at many places. Gamada and Municipal Corporation were given in the meeting. The duty of Rupinder Kaur Nagra and Karamjit Kaur was imposed to obtain information under the Right to Information Act in connection with the processing of demand letters. During the meeting, it was said that the corporation did not release the money for the maintenance of the parks for four months. It was decided that a meeting will be held with the mayor of the corporation in this regard, which will be conducted by Gurmeet Singh Ghun. On this occasion, a demand was made to the corporation officials that instead of dumping the garbage of the parks, it should be picked up directly from the parks. Along with this, the administration was requested to make arrangements for multilevel parking in congested areas so that people are not forced to park their vehicles on the roads. It was also demanded that keeping in view the problem of airport road jam, an elevated road should be constructed from Airport Chowk to Kharar. It was decided in the meeting to convene a separate meeting to address the problems of residents of sectors being constructed by private builders, which would be organized by T. D. Rajwinder Singh, President, Resident Welfare Society, Sector 110, will do this. A demand letter will be handed over to MLA Kulwant Singh, Municipal Corporation Mayor Amarjeet Singh Sindhu and CA Gamadan regarding the demands kept in the meeting. During the meeting, besides MS Aujla, Patron of the Confederation, Gurmel Singh Maujewal, Sanjeev Rabra, Bakshish Singh, Gurmeet Singh Ghun, Jasveer Singh Garang, Sucha Singh, M.K. Bhatnagar, Mahendra Singh, Surjit Singh, Kuljit Singh, Naresh Verma and Jagbir Singh Sidhu were present.
