‘Your Government at Your Doorstep’ Campaign: Camps to be Held at Machhli Khurd and Machhli Kalan on July 11

Kharar/Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, July 9, 2025: With the aim of relieving the public from difficulties faced in daily dealings with government offices, the Punjab Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, is organizing camps at the sub-division level in various villages and cities under the ‘Your Government at Your Doorstep’ campaign. As part of this initiative, camps will be held on July 11, 2025, at Machhli Khurd and Machhli Kalan.

Kharar/Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, July 9, 2025: With the aim of relieving the public from difficulties faced in daily dealings with government offices, the Punjab Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, is organizing camps at the sub-division level in various villages and cities under the ‘Your Government at Your Doorstep’ campaign. As part of this initiative, camps will be held on July 11, 2025, at Machhli Khurd and Machhli Kalan.
Providing this information, Kharar Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Divya P stated that residents of Machhli Khurd and Machhli Kalan can bring their applications to the camp being organized at Machhli Khurd on July 11, 2025.
SDM Kharar, Divya P, further informed that relevant departments will provide services on the spot during the camp. The camp will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Services provided at these camps include issuance of birth certificates, income certificates, residence certificates, certificates for scheduled and backward classes, old age, disability, and dependent pensions, name changes in birth certificates, payment of electricity bills, verification of revenue department records, marriage registration, issuance of additional copies of death certificates, rural area certificates, issuance of fard (land records), applications for the Shagun scheme, land demarcation, counter-signing of NRI certificates, counter-signing of police clearance certificates, changes in death certificates, and more.
She also appealed to the public to take maximum advantage of these camps, initiated for public welfare, to complete their government-related work. Additionally, she mentioned that for accessing 406 services related to various departments, people can also contact the helpline number 1076.
