Garhshankar- After the strike in various departments, the employees, laborers and farmers organizations of Block Garhshankar took out a protest rally at the Garhshankar bus stand under the leadership of Comrade Makhan Singh Wahid Puri, Amrik Singh, Mukesh Kumar, Saroop Chand, Kulbhushan Kumar, Harmesh Dhesi and took out an impressive protest march in support of their demands.

During this, Ram Ji Chauhan, Amrik Singh, Sham Sundar, Sukhdev Dancewal, Kulbhushan Kumar, Satpal Minhas, Jagdish Rai, Vinod Kumar, Balbir Khanpur and Ashwani Rana said that due to the anti-people policies of the Modi government at the Center, inflation, unemployment and poverty are increasing day by day in the whole country. The life of the common man is becoming difficult day by day.
While the Modi government is pushing the country towards economic ruin by privatizing government institutions and rapidly implementing anti-people corporate policies, it is also creating an atmosphere of hatred in the country by promoting religious fanaticism, adopting discriminatory policies against minorities and Dalits, saffronizing education policy and constitutional institutions, silencing those who speak the truth and tampering with the Constitution, which the peace-loving people of the country will not tolerate at any cost.
The leaders said that like the central government, the Punjab government is also economically exploiting employees, pensioners, laborers, farmers and hardworking people. It is not resolving the demands of restoration of old pension, regularization of temporary employees, arrears of DA-Pay Commission, restoration of 37 cut allowances and other legitimate demands. Minimum wages are not being implemented for Anganwadi workers, mid-day meal workers, Asha workers.
The leaders said that governments taking anti-people decisions cannot survive for long in the face of people's struggles. The leaders slammed the central and state government and said that the demands of employees, labourers, farmers, pensioners and common people should be accepted immediately. The leaders expressed satisfaction over the increasing participation of various departments in the strike.
