During the meeting at the local District Administrative Complex, Deputy Commissioner Ankurjit Singh told the company representatives that under CSR, more focus should be given on strengthening the areas of education, health, environmental protection, women empowerment and further raising the social level.
He said that needy students in the educational institutions of the district should be identified and helped under CSR so that these children can realize their dreams. He said that an action plan should be prepared for the current financial year under CSR and its effective implementation should be ensured at all costs.
The Deputy Commissioner said that CSR funds should also be used for the all-round development of youth, social welfare and employment generation, which will greatly benefit the youth, especially the needy and unemployed.
He said that for this work, the district administration will ensure every possible help from the companies so that proper use of these funds can be implemented. He also talked about ensuring complete transparency in the use of these funds and said that keeping in view the public interest, CSR efforts can give new impetus to social welfare works.
He assured the company representatives that full cooperation and coordination will be provided by various departments for the work to be done under CSR.
