Una, July 1- 'Seva Bhaav Week' was started in Una Postal Division from July 1. The objective of this campaign is to make people aware of the modern, digital and public welfare services of the Postal Department. During this, emphasis was laid on promoting digital transactions especially through India Post Payments Bank.
Under the leadership of Postal Superintendent Bhupinder Singh, small teams have been formed in every post office of the entire division, who have been entrusted with the responsibility of going to their respective areas and connecting the general public with the services of the Postal Department.
Bhupinder Singh informed that under the guidance of Chief Post Master General of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Shailendra Kumar Dwivedi, Seva Bhaav Week is being celebrated in Una Postal Division with full enthusiasm, public participation and service spirit.
Under this campaign, the Postal Superintendent himself went to the field and met various self-help groups and gave them detailed information about the Open Network for Digital Commerce. He said that this platform gives the local producers an opportunity to sell their products across the country and the Postal Department will assist in delivering their products to the customers through parcel services.
On this occasion, the process of digital transactions was explained to the women and merchant QR codes were also distributed by opening accounts in India Post Payments Bank, so that they can receive direct digital payments on the sale of their products.
