International Environment Day was celebrated at Khalsa College Dumeli.

Hoshiarpur- Red Ribbon Club and NSS Department of Sant Baba Dalip Singh Memorial Khalsa College Dumeli, an educational institution running under Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, celebrated International Environment Day. On this occasion, various types of saplings were planted by the students of the college.

Incharge of Red Ribbon Club Madam Amarpal Kaur called upon the students to keep the environment clean. Head of National Service Scheme Department Madam Damanjit Kaur said that a healthy society can be built only when our surrounding environment is clean.
College Principal Dr. Gurnam Singh Rasoolpur called upon the students to make efforts to save the environment. After this, saplings were also planted by the Principal and college staff members. All the staff members and students were present on this occasion.
