It is necessary for all sections of the society to unite to eradicate drug addiction from Punjab- Dr. Ishank Kumar.

To further intensify this campaign, Dr. Ishank also held a special meeting with ASHA workers and Anganwadi workers of the constituency. He said that ASHA workers are the backbone of our rural health care system and Anganwadi workers are the pillars of pre-primary education.
These workers go door-to-door in villages and make people aware about the health and education of children. Dr. Ishank said that similarly ASHA and Anganwadi workers are also involved in the war against drug addiction campaign. The message will also be helpful in reaching every home and through this they can also contribute to social reform and saving the youth of Punjab from drug addiction.
Asha-Anganwadi workers present on this occasion gave a positive response to this campaign of the MLA and assured their support. Anganwadi worker Sarabjit Kaur said that by making us a part of this campaign, MLA Dr. Ishank has entrusted us with a responsibility which we will fulfill with full dedication.
She said that our Punjab and the youth of Punjab, the future of Punjab are very dear to all of us and we stand with the government and our MLA in every effort to get it out of the trap of drugs. Dr. Ishank thanked Asha and Anganwadi workers for their cooperation.
