Patiala- The valour of Mother India's daughter Colonel Sofia Qureshi, who took revenge from terrorists by making gunpowder from Pahalgam's sandhur, the bravery of Wing Commander Buamika Singh and soldiers was recalled by the students, teachers, Civil Defence volunteer Kaka Ram Verma and Punjab Police Sub-Inspector Ajit Kaur of DAV Public School, who took revenge from the abandoned sandhur and eliminated hundreds of terrorists and brought glory to the country.
Patiala- The valour of Mother India's daughter Colonel Sofia Qureshi, who took revenge from terrorists by making gunpowder from Pahalgam's sandhur, the bravery of Wing Commander Buamika Singh and soldiers was recalled by the students, teachers, Civil Defence volunteer Kaka Ram Verma and Punjab Police Sub-Inspector Ajit Kaur of DAV Public School, who took revenge from the abandoned sandhur and eliminated hundreds of terrorists and brought glory to the country.
These views were expressed by the school's Principal Mr. Manoj Sharma, Police Sub-Inspector Ajit Kaur and Civil Defence volunteer Kaka Ram Verma while instilling the spirit of patriotism, self-defence, civil defence and national security in the students. They informed that under the Mission Operation Shield of the Government of India, efforts are being made on a war footing by the District Administration and Civil Defence volunteers to save the citizens and help the victims during wars and disasters so that the youth and citizens of the country can be made aware.
In this context, special programs were organized in DAV Public School, in which students and teachers were made aware about disaster management, civil defense, first aid, CPR, fire safety, use of gas cylinders, following traffic rules, laws, principles, drug abuse, crime, kidnapping and cyber crimes.
Sub-Inspector Ajit Kaur, in-charge of District Traffic Education Cell Patiala, informed the students about the related topics and explained that those who violate rules, laws, principles, duties and greed due to negligence, carelessness, haste, speeding and often fall into trouble. She advised the students to follow the rules, laws, principles and instructions for their bright future.
Kaka Ram Verma, Disaster Management Civil Defence First Aid Fire Safety Instructor of Government of India, gave training to the students on disaster management, civil defence, first aid, CPR, fire safety, use of cylinders, survival techniques during wars and disasters and told that in view of the ongoing war tensions and increasing disasters in the world, governments and administration are preparing civil defence volunteers for the public, training, exercises and mock drills are being conducted so that people can save themselves and help the victims.
He thanked Principal Sharma ji and said that like good, responsible administrators and principals, he has inspired his students to take training for the protection, safety, help and service of the country, society, home, family and environment.
The students gave the title of Lion of India to Colonel Sophia Qureshi and Wing Commander Bumika Singh for the success of Operation Sandhur.
Thanking the Principal, teachers and subject experts, he said that at this time there is a need for helping angels to save the country, society, homes, families and environment, for which he would always strive for the security, help, respect, prosperity and progress of the country and society.
