
Changes in pension rules by the Centre.
New Delhi, May 27- The Central Government has made some changes in the pension rules, under which any employee of public sector undertakings (PSUs) will not get post-retirement benefits if he is dismissed or removed. Giving this information, the Central Government said that the decision of such dismissal or removal will be reviewed by the concerned administrative ministry.

The Ministry of Personnel has made major changes in the Central Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 2021 in this regard. According to the recently notified Central Civil Services (Pension) Amendment Rules, 2025, ‘If any employee is dismissed or removed from service for any misconduct after joining a public sector undertaking, his post-retirement benefits will be stopped.’ These rules were notified on May 22.
