
Cabinet Minister Dr Ravjot donates one year’s salary to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to help flood-affected people.
Hoshiarpur- Prioritizing humanity and social concern, Punjab Government Cabinet Minister Dr Ravjot Singh has taken a big humanitarian step and donated one year’s salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to help flood-affected people. He handed over the cheque to Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, who was on a visit to Tanda yesterday.

He handed over the cheque to Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, who was on a visit to Tanda yesterday.
Dr Ravjot said on this occasion that his total annual salary is Rs 12 lakh, which he has dedicated to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Cabinet Minister Dr Ravjot Singh said that the natural disaster that struck many districts of Punjab has caused huge losses to the common people.
In such a time, the government and every section of the society should come together and contribute to the relief and rehabilitation works. He said that as a human being, it is the duty of every person to stand with the needy and share their pain and suffering.
The Cabinet Minister also appealed that capable people and social organizations should come forward and contribute to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund so that the flood-affected families can get timely help. He said that the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is taking all possible steps and the district administration has been instructed to be fully prepared for relief work.
Dr. Ravjot Singh said that this contribution is not limited to financial assistance only, but it is a message that every citizen of Punjab is with each other in this difficult time. He expressed confidence that together we will overcome this disaster and be successful in bringing the affected families back to normal life.
