Hoshiarpur- According to the police orders, there is a ban on the movement of overloaded trucks and tippers in Hoshiarpur district from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm. Despite this, the orders are being flouted and tippers are roaming freely on the roads even between 6:00 am and 9:00 pm in crowded markets.
The above views were expressed by Parshotam Banga, State President of Shiv Sena Punjab (SC), while talking to the media. He said that due to this, road accidents sometimes become common and many people are also dying.
Prashotam Banga said that on the road from Mahilpur to Jejon, overloaded trucks of gravel and sand and their staff forcefully pass tippers on the road all day long at their own will. Many crushers work in this illegal business near Jejon town. Similarly, on the road from Garhshankar to Nangal, overloaded trucks filled with gravel, sand and stones keep passing through the market all day long.
He said that Garhshankar DSP has also put up flexes of his orders at many places, on which it is written that the movement of trailers and tippers on the road from Ratsankar to Nangal is prohibited from 6 am to 9 pm.
