Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, May 20, 2025: Under the Mission Ghar Ghar Rozgar of Punjab Government, District Bureau of Employment and Commerce and MCC, SAS Nagar in collaboration with Chandigarh Vidya Jyoti Eduversity organized a job fair on Wednesday, 21st May at Chandigarh Vidya Jyoti Eduversity, VPO Gholumajra, Near NHAI Dapper Toll Plaza, Chandigarh-Ambala Highway, Derabassi (Derabassi), the timing of which will be from 10 am to 2 pm.
Harpreet Singh Manshahian, Deputy Director, District Bureau of Employment and Commerce, SAS Nagar said that the Punjab Government is continuously making efforts to provide employment to the candidates, under which the job fair is to be organized on 21st May (Wednesday).
He further informed that about 20 companies like Uniqlo, Puma, Decathlon Radisson Hotel etc. are participating in this job fair. The salary of the candidates to be recruited will be according to the companies and the place of work will be district SAS Nagar.
He informed that boys and girls can participate in this job fair. The age of the candidates should be between 18 to 28 years and the minimum qualification should be +2 and BA, BCom, BBA, MCom, BCA, BSc-IT, Health Science, Hotel Management, Travel and Tourism can participate. He appealed to the candidates to take maximum advantage of this opportunity.
Candidates living in SAS Nagar district should bring their original certificates of qualification, Aadhar card, caste certificate SC, BC, OBC, PAN card and their photocopies along with the resume, so that the candidates can be registered on the spot. Apart from this, candidates should try to come on time in their formal attire.
