SAS Nagar, May 19- On the call of Sector 76 to 80 Samvardhan Sangharsh Samiti, a grand meeting of welfare associations was held in Sector 79's Bada Park, in which information was given about the next step after the 24th April dharna. Harjit Singh Bholu MC, Jarnail Singh, Comrade Major Singh, Hardiyal Chand Badbar, Jagjit Singh, Surinder Singh Kang, MP Singh, Avtar Singh, Bhagwant Singh Gill, Karam Singh and others expressed their views in the meeting.
It was told in the meeting that on May 12, a meeting of Sangharsh Samiti was held with GMADA's Principal Secretary Housing, in which the Secretary had assured to resolve the promotion issues soon, but no concrete action has been taken yet.
The next phase of the struggle was announced in the meeting under which a black flag march will be organised on May 28, starting from Gurdwara Singh Shaheeda Sohana, passing through Phase 7 Lights towards Gurdwara Amb Sahib and culminating in a protest at the main gate of GMADA where a new memorandum of demands will be handed over to the GMADA officials. The Sangharsh Samiti will continue the struggle till the achievement of its demands.
