Garhshankar- A comprehensive meeting of the MNREGA workers was held at the village of Bassi Daulat Khan today. Addressing this meeting, CITU Punjab Vice President Mahendra Kumar Badoan Dhanpat said that the workers and farmers of the Modi government should join the nationwide strike on July 9 and protest vigorously against the anti-worker and farmer policies of the Punjab government.
The wheel should be blocked, the Modi government has passed a law to do 12 hours of duty, now the Modi government is going to implement the 4th labor code. The right to form a union, dharna rally will be banned. The employment of the workers has been attacked by cutting 10 thousand crores in the budget of the MNREGA workers.
The leaders said that to get Rs 700 per day, Rs 26,000 as wages for the whole year, they should stop the July 9 strike and gather at Hoshiarpur Green Park. On this occasion, Paramjit Kor Sarpanch Manjit Kor Simran Kulwinder Kor Kulwinder Kor Manpreet Kor Governor Shampal Babli Avtar also addressed the gathering.
