
MLA Randhawa inaugurated new development works worth Rs 73.58 lakh in 04 different schools and dedicated them to the students
Zirakpur, May 3: MLA Derabassi Sardar Kuljit Singh Randhawa on Saturday inaugurated various development works worth Rs 73.58 lakh in four schools falling under Zirakpur in his constituency and dedicated them to the students. Along with this, MLA Randhawa announced approval of a grant of Rs 14 lakh for development works in Government Primary School Lohgarh.
Zirakpur, May 3: MLA Derabassi Sardar Kuljit Singh Randhawa on Saturday inaugurated various development works worth Rs 73.58 lakh in four schools falling under Zirakpur in his constituency and dedicated them to the students. Along with this, MLA Randhawa announced approval of a grant of Rs 14 lakh for development works in Government Primary School Lohgarh.
Education Coordinator Gurpreet Singh Virk today gave information about various development works dedicated to the students by MLA Randhawa. Modern classrooms and other works were constructed in Government Elementary Smart School of village Chhatt at a cost of Rs 11 lakh 35 thousand, a new track was built for the boundary wall playground at a cost of Rs 20 lakh 71 thousand in Government Elementary Smart School of village Sitabgarh. Four modern classrooms, science laboratory and other development works constructed in PM Shri Government Senior Secondary Smart School of village Lohgarh at a cost of Rs 26 lakh 52 thousand, four modern classrooms, science laboratory and other development works constructed in Government Primary School at a cost of Rs 15 lakh were dedicated to the students.
On this occasion, MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa in his address said that the improvement in the infrastructure of Punjab schools and the change in the quality of education under the leadership of Chief Minister Sardar Bhagwant Singh Mann has revived the faith of the people of Punjab in government schools which was lost during the previous governments. He said that 12000 government schools are being renovated across Punjab at a cost of Rs 2000 crore.
He said that the opposition parties have no other option but to accept this historic work of the government with an open heart, but despite their habit, they are criticizing the government instead of appreciating its good work.
MLA Randhawa said that when he visits schools and sees new rooms, smart classrooms, computer and science labs, clean drinking water facilities, playgrounds etc., the biggest gratitude to the Bhagwant Singh Mann government of Punjab is to see the smile on the faces of the children studying there. He said that the only goal of the Punjab government is to make the condition of government schools of Punjab better than private schools and provide quality education facilities in government educational institutions.
On this occasion, apart from the teachers of these schools, the Panchs, Sarpanchs and Mohtabars of the area and the entire team of Aam Aadmi Party were present.
