Hoshiarpur - Dr. Ishank, the popular MLA of Chabbewal Assembly constituency said that "I am working with the goal of overall development of every village of my assembly constituency Chabbewal." During his visit to village Thakkarwal, he inspected the development works going on there. Dr. Ishank visited the Panchayat House being constructed in the village and inquired about the progress of the work going on at the construction site. He also reviewed the construction process of the new gymnasium being built in the village.
Village Sarpanch Jaswinder Singh was also present on the occasion. He told the MLA that the construction of the Panchayat House was a long-standing demand of the villagers, which is now being fulfilled. He said that the construction of the Panchayat House will provide better space for rural activities and the process of implementation of government schemes will be more effective. Dr. Ishank said that development of villages is the real progress and his government is committed to equip every village with modern facilities.
He ordered the officials to complete the construction work within the stipulated time and with quality. Talking about the new gym, the MLA said that motivating the youth towards sports and fitness is the priority of the government. The construction of the gym will provide the youth of the village an opportunity to become health conscious and they will stay away from evils like drug addiction.
Dr. Ishank interacted with the villagers, listened to their problems and assured that every issue will be resolved on priority basis. Dignitaries of the village, youth and panchayat members were present in large numbers on the occasion. Seeing the development work being done in village Thakkarwal, people are happy and they expressed their gratitude to the MLA.
