Ganshankar 30 April: Under the Punjab Shiksha Kranti Abhiyan, Deputy Speaker of Punjab Assembly Jai Krishna Singh Raudi inaugurated development works done at a cost of Rs 77.71 lakh in 6 schools of Garhshankar Assembly constituency. On this occasion, he said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is making progress in the field of education. It is bringing revolutionary changes.

The Deputy Speaker inaugurated new classrooms and boundary walls in Government Elementary School Khanpur, new classrooms and boundary walls in Elementary School Sadhowal, boundary walls and other development works in Government Primary School Badesaro, new classrooms, boundary walls and other development works in Government Primary School Garhshankar (Boys), new classrooms, boundary walls and other development works in Government Primary School Garhshankar (Bukkia) and new classrooms and boundary walls in Government High School Basiala.
The Deputy Speaker said that these development works would provide better learning environment to the students and give them an opportunity to hone their talents.
He also said that the aim of the Punjab Government is to provide quality education to every child so that they can realize their dreams. Jai Krishan Singh Raudi said that this revolution in the field of education would not only improve the future of the students but would also help in bringing positive change in the society.
He also said that the government has upgraded thousands of schools in the state and provided every basic facility. Officers of the Gram Panchayat and Education Department were also present on the occasion.
