World Book Day was celebrated

Mahilpur- Shiromani Punjabi children's literature writer Baljinder Mann said in his address on the occasion of World Book Day held at Government High School Tuto Mazara that books make human life rich and beautiful. He further said that those who make books their friends never cheat in life.

Similarly, children who read books in their student life always achieve high and holy goals. Indeed, books are the lifeline of literature. 
This proves that we all must read books, so that our future continues to prosper and ideas continue to flow. He presented a set of his books to Principal Balbir Singh and staff members for the library.
The Principal while delivering the welcome speech said that Baljinder Mann has made significant progress in children's literature, culture, sports, artistic and social work in the last 35 years. Every year 7100 copies of children's magazine Nikkiyan Karumbala are distributed free of cost to talented students to develop book culture.
Similarly, sets of books are given as gifts during the programs. They are working as a beacon for the entire society. A spectacular cultural program was also presented by the students on this occasion. Students who read the most books from the library were awarded with interesting and informative books. Ravinder Kumar delivered a melodious speech in Kavka style. 
Members of the school management committee including Renu Bala, Vanita Jassal, Ravinder Kumar, Varinder Kaur, Mandeep Singh, Kulwinder Kaur Kuldeep Singh, Amrik Singh, Praveen Kaur, Mandeep Kaur, Poonam Bedi, students and parents were present on this occasion.
