Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, April 9: Punjab Government has launched Shiksha Kranti Abhiyan to raise the level of education in the state, under which the Punjab Government led by Punjab Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann is providing necessary facilities in government schools.
In this series, today, various facilities like classrooms, playgrounds, toilets etc. provided by the Punjab Government at Government Girls Smart Senior Secondary School Village Sohana and Government Primary School Village Sohana in SAS Nagar Mohali city were inaugurated by the constituency MLA S. Kulwant Singh during various programs organized in these schools.
Modern smart classrooms constructed at a cost of Rs. crore, badminton court constructed at a cost of Rs. 9.55 lakh in Government Girls Smart Senior Secondary School Sohana, toilet block constructed at a cost of about Rs. 1.5 lakh and smart classroom constructed at a cost of Rs. 9.55 lakh in Government Primary School Sohana were inaugurated and handed over to the children for their bright future.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Kulwant Singh said that the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann does what it says. He said that for the progress and prosperity of any country, it is important for the residents of that country to be healthy and educated. Following the same lines, the Aam Aadmi Party Government of Punjab is constantly making efforts to raise the level of health services and education in Punjab.
Under which, under the leadership of Hon'ble Chief Minister of Punjab S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, about 881 Aam Aadmi Clinics have been opened in Punjab so far, in which the services of an Aam Aadmi Clinic are available within every 3-4 km radius. In the field of education, the Punjab Government has started the education revolution to improve the education system of Punjab and to make the future of the children of Punjab secure and better.
Under this, every child and their parents of Punjab are being informed about how the government schools of Punjab are providing modern facilities to the students like private schools and they are being encouraged to take admission in the government schools of Punjab as much as possible.
The government schools of Punjab are no less than any private school.
