Balachaur- To achieve the goal of providing quality 'early childhood care and education' to children between 0 and 6 years of age as per the National Education Policy 2020, as per the instructions of the Social Security and Women and Child Development Department Punjab and District Program Officer Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Jagroop Singh, a three-day training was organized for the second batch of 76 Anganwadi workers of Block Balachaur under the 'Poshan V Padhai V' scheme in the Amarnath Saini Seminar Hall of R.K. Arya College Nawanshahr from 24 to 26 March.
Child Development Project Officer Balachaur Puran Pankaj Sharma said that under the Education Policy 2020, skill development training was given to children between 0 and 6 years of age on quality 'early childhood care and education, importance of TLM, good health, all-round development and development of disabled children and inclusion in the mainstream. He also informed that till now a total of 151 Anganwadi workers have been given skill training.
He appealed to the general public to get their children aged 0 to 6 years enrolled in Anganwadi centers for all-round development and take maximum benefit of Saksham Anganwadi centers and Poshan 2.0 scheme. Supervisors Anjali, Paramjeet, Harsh Bala, Neelam Kumari and Sandeep Chaudhary participated in this training as State Master Trainers.
