Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, April 11: Local Market Committee Chairman Govinder Mittal has resolved the problem of wheat purchase in Anaj Mandi Bhago Mazra and has resumed the purchase.
He informed that the purchase is being done by the purchase agency Mark Fed in Bhago Mazra. Due to some reasons, farmers were facing problems in purchasing in the market due to the problem of gunpowder, when the matter came to his notice, he contacted the concerned purchase agency officer and arranged for gunpowder and resumed the purchase.
He assured the farmers that no kind of hindrance will be allowed in the purchase work and if any such problem arises, he will be present on the spot immediately. He appealed to the farmers to bring dry grains to sell in the mandis so that they do not have to wait in the market to sell their crop due to the large quantity of new crop.
Chairman Market Committee also assured that Aam Aadmi Party government led by Chief Minister Punjab Shri Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to purchasing wheat of farmers in Mandis of Punjab without any hassle. Present on the occasion were Vijay Secretary Market Committee, Markfed Senior Branch Officer Kharar Gurbani Singh, commission agents Rajiv Aggarwal, Sukhpal Negi, Jaspreet Singh Gadana and farmers Gyan Singh, Mangal, Market Committee employees Lakhwinder Singh Mandi Supervisor, Kulwinder Singh and Jaspreet Singh.
