Hoshiarpur- All the political parties that have come to power in Punjab till now have not done anything new except looting the state. People have also seen the condition of the government that came as an alternative. That is why Bahujan Samaj Party is calling upon the people to come together on one platform and save Punjab through Punjab Bachao Abhiyan from Phagwara. This was said by BSP state president Avtar Singh Karimpuri during a special conversation. BSP is coming forward as a campaign to save Punjab which is getting ruined badly. It started with a state level function in Phagwara.
He said that BSP will give such a change to the people of the state in the form of government, which will bring revolution in the health, education, employment and industry of all sections. President Karimpuri said that at present the law and order of the state has completely deteriorated. Sons of Maawa are dying every day due to drug addiction and the ruling party of the state is doing nothing except politics.
He said that BSP is strengthening the party so that a new change can be given to the people who are looting the state. He said that 'not a public campaign but giving a welfare government is the main objective of BSP. Karimpuri said that due to the wrong intention of the ruling party, the situation in the state has worsened, this is the reason that the mothers and sisters of the state are also facing domestic and external violence due to drug addiction.
The government is influencing the people by targeting only small drug addicts or smugglers, leaving the campaign against drugs, while the reality is something else. BSP will gain the trust of the people and Dr. Karimpuri and others said that they will create officers and not beggars in the state. Karimpuri claimed that the present government has made the people and the treasury unhappy with its anti-people policies. People have to stand in queues to get ration. The treasury is getting empty due to the free food scheme.
He claimed that BSP will emerge as a strong party in the state and after coming to power, it will create a class of officers and not beggars. He said that at present the farmers, youth and working class of the state are being harassed. Criminal industries in the state are becoming devoid of external investment. Due to this, new jobs are not being created. There is a need to create a new Punjab as people have seen through the claims of a colourful Punjab.
Karimpuri said that BSP is not the party of any particular person, it is a party with new thinking. Therefore, the party symbol of BSP, the elephant, is its real hero face. He said that BSP is not limited to just contesting elections. BSP is not the party of any particular class, it is the party of all the people of the state including my country. Our interest is in the state, not just in doing politics or contesting elections. Saving Punjab from the hands of thieves and delivering its treasure to safe chariots is the need of the hour.
The party has entered the field by making policies in the interest of the state, because the political and family interests of some parties have ruined Punjab. Karimpuri claimed that BSP has never done politics of religion. Even now some people are creating a rift in the Hindu Sikh community in the guise of religious interests of the state. The party will not allow the elimination of such people to succeed.
He said that people should support the party to build a state full of love, affection and free from hatred so that Punjab comes in the hands of those who have the right to maintain it. Those who create hatred should be removed from power. He said that today's gathering has proved that people have full faith in the party. People are looking at BSP as a regional alternative in the state politics.
