
District level two day training workshop concluded successfully

On the second day of this workshop, the youth were trained to organize blood donation camps, eye check-up camps for prevention of eye diseases and to wage war against drug abuse. Dr. Rubal, who arrived specially from Government Hospital Lalru, made the youth aware about the precautions to be taken in camps organized for eye care.
Dr. Davinder encouraged the youth to organize blood donation camps and said that they can play a big role in meeting the shortage of blood in the area by organizing blood donation camps.
Dr. Sakshi made the youth aware about the measures being taken to prevent drug abuse in their villages and motivated them to bring patients to de-addiction centers for de-addiction.
After this, Dr. Dilwar Singh gave information about the measures of the Punjab Government. He said that to encourage the youth of Yuva Seva Clubs to improve their villages in every field, the Punjab Government has made a provision in the new Punjab Youth Policy 2024 to give awards of Rs 5 lakh, Rs 3 lakh and Rs 2 lakh to the clubs coming first, second and third in each district so that the youth can play their role in making a colorful Punjab.
On this occasion, artists of Aaram Rang Manch Lalru also presented a play. Assistant Director Youth Services SAS Nagar presented mementos to the speakers. Principal of Government ITI Lalru Mr. Harbinder Singh presented the vote of thanks and the stage was conducted by Mr. Rajinder Singh Ambhol.
