Hoshiarpur- A seminar, poster making and speech competition was organized on the topic "Blood donation is a great donation" in Government College Hoshiarpur under the chairmanship of College Principal Anita Sagar ji and as per the instructions of Red Ribbon Club and NSS in-charge Professor Vijay Kumar, Youth Services Department Punjab and Assistant Director Youth Services Hoshiarpur Ravipal Dara.
Vijay Kumar motivated the youth studying in the college for social service and said that we all should save the precious lives of others by donating blood from time to time because many times when blood is needed due to illness or accident, the blood donated by the youth gives them a new life. Prof. Vijay Kumar said that blood donation and eye donation are great donations.
There is no donation greater than these. On this occasion, students Sahil, Arsh and student Khushboo also made posters to spread awareness on this topic. Similarly, the students presented their views according to the topic. On this occasion, apart from Prof. Vijay Kumar, Assistant Prof. Saroj Sharma, Dr. Aruna Rani, Dr. Paramjit Kaur, Assistant Professor Suraj Kumar, Nirmal Singh and a large number of students participated.
