Chandigarh: 06th February, 2025: Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh, is all set to have its much-anticipated Global Annual Alumni Meet 2025 on 8th February 2025, from 9:00 AM onwards at the PEC Auditorium.
PECOSA (Punjab Engineering College Old Students Association) prepares to organize this grand reunion with excitement and nostalgia, wherein around 800 alumni who graduated from 1955 to 2022 are expected to attend, coming from across India, Nepal, USA, UK, Gulf, Canada and Australia.
The event is being hosted by the Executive Committee of PECOSA under the guidance of Er. Manish Gupta (President PECOSA and former Chairman CII Chandigarh) and Er. H.S. Oberoi (General Secretary, PECOSA) with generous contributions from the vibrant Alumni network across India to make this a landmark event.
The highlight of the event will be the presence of Er. Gursharan Singh (Batch of 1981, Sr VP, Micron Technology, USA) as the Chief Guest, who will address the gathering and share his experiences. The event will be presided over by Prof. Dr. Rajesh Bhatia, Honourable Director, PEC.
In this day-long celebration of nostalgia and camaraderie, special felicitation will be held for alumni for Platinum, Golden, Silver Jubilee for Batches 1975, 1990 and 2000 Batch respectively and also honouring from the batches of 1960, 1965, 1970, 1980, 1985, 1995, 2005, and 2010. The full day event will also feature interactive sessions, cultural performances, and engaging activities like kite flying, tambola, and musical chairs at the PEC Campus, followed by a networking session and musical evening with gala dinner.
This Alumni Meet is a platform to inspire, network, and contribute towards the continued growth of institution PEC. This will catalyse to build bridges across Alumni and contribute in terms of mentoring, support for donations & scholarships and expertise to help Alma Mater PEC in its pursuit of excellence & research through PECOSA.
As PECOSA eagerly awaits this homecoming, the PEC campus is set to come alive with cherished memories and renewed bonds.
