Nawanshahr- Under the able leadership of Police Chief of District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Dr. Mehtab Singh, today again, the team of ASI Praveen Kumar, ASI Dilawar Singh and Head Constable Sunil Dutt, in-charge of District Traffic Education Cell of Traffic Police Nawanshahr, made people aware of traffic rules and examined the eyes of the drivers at the Taxi Union near the bus stand.
Giving information, ASI Praveen Kumar said that like every year, this time also, the Punjab Government is making people aware of traffic rules from January 1 to January 31. His team installed reflectors on vehicles and organized a medical camp at Doaba Taxi Union in which the eyes of the drivers were examined and the common people were motivated to adopt traffic rules.
On this occasion, the drivers expressed their gratitude to the entire team of District Traffic Police. On this occasion, RTO Palwinder Singh Bansal told the people that they should leave their homes only after completing the documents of their vehicles and carrying them with them so that they do not face any kind of problem.
Along with him, Assistant RTO of RTO office Ramandeep Singh, District Traffic Police in-charge Subhash Chandra and Head Constable Sunil Da, besides Taxi Union's Navneet Singh, Hari Chand, Subhash Singh, Naresh Kumar, Piru Lal and Indrajit Singh were present.
