On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Una in his address said that the purpose of celebrating National Voter's Day is to raise awareness about the importance of voting in democracy and to promote active participation in the election process. The Deputy Commissioner urged the young generation to take a pledge to participate in voting throughout their life after completing the age of 18 years and also inspire others for this.
