Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, January 3: As per the directions of Gurdwara Election Commission, preliminary publication of Gurdwara voter lists in all 03 Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (Board) constituencies 58-Dera Bassi, 119-Kharar and 120-SAS Nagar falling in District SAS Nagar has been done on 03.01.2025 at the designated places, Deputy Commissioner Office, offices of concerned Revision Authorities (SDMs)/ Returning Officers, all Tehsil Offices, offices of Patwaris in Patwar Circles and all notified Sikh Gurdwaras and voter lists are available for viewing at these places.
The Revision Authorities of all constituencies 58-Dera Bassi (SDM Dera Bassi), 119-Kharar (SDM Kharar) and 120-SAS Nagar (SDM SAS Nagar) will receive claims/objections on the draft voter list from 03.01.2025 to 24.01.2025 and the received claims/objections will be disposed of by 05.02.2025. The draft/supplementary list of accepted claims/objections will be prepared and printed by 24.02.2025 and final publication of voter list will be done on 25.02.2025.
If there is any clerical or printing error in the draft voter list, please contact the concerned Revision Authority (SDM (MS)) so that necessary correction can be done before final publication. Applicants/objectors of the draft voter list can send their claims/objections in writing to their revision authority personally, in writing, by post or through an agent approved in writing by the due date. Only a person who is 21 years of age or above and whose name is already registered in the voter list of that constituency can object. All eligible voters of the district are appealed to get their vote registered by filling the form by the said date 24.01.2025.
