The effective schemes and projects implemented here keeping in mind the permanent solution to the water crisis have proved to be transformative on the ground. These efforts not only resolved the current water crisis, but also laid a strong and sustainable foundation for water management in the future.
The result of visionary leadership
Under the leadership of Haroli MLA and Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Shri Mukesh Agnihotri, many important steps have been taken for water management in the region. In the last one year, 9 drinking water projects worth Rs 41 crore have been inaugurated, which has provided clean drinking water to more than 45,000 people. Along with this, the construction of 10 schemes at a cost of Rs 122 crore is in progress.
At the same time, the construction of 64 large water storage tanks in the region in just one year is a very important step. The storage capacity of these tanks, constructed at a cost of about Rs 22 crore, is 12.8 million liters. These structures are not only a solution to the current water crisis, but have also been built keeping in mind future water needs. This effort of Shri Agnihotri is a symbol of his deep commitment towards public welfare and long-term development.
Major changes in life
Executive Engineer of Jal Shakti Department Haroli, Puneet Sharma says that the construction of 64 water storage tanks are not just concrete structures, but they are a guarantee of a happy, healthy and bright future for thousands of families of Haroli area. He further says that in line with the vision of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Mukesh Agnihotri, the projects of the department have brought many important changes in the lives of the people of Haroli. Now clean drinking water is available to the people in every season.
He says that the focus has been on recharging water sources on a large scale in the area. Apart from this, two more water storage tanks with a capacity of 50 lakh liters and 25 lakh liters have been constructed in the Bulk Drug Park project. These tanks will ensure water supply in the Bulk Drug Park and will become the basis for industrial development and employment generation in the area.
The public expressed gratitude
Residents of Haroli Assembly constituency are very happy with this pleasant change that has become the leader of revolutionary change in efficient water management. Om Prakash Omi Jindad of Beaton Panchayat of Haroli says that earlier supply of drinking water was our biggest problem. Now this problem has been eliminated due to new projects and construction of big tanks in the area. Life has become much easier. Bimla Devi of Beaton and Madan Lal of Majra Jakhewal village say that continuous water supply at home has made our life easier. We had never imagined this.
This is not just a facility, but a proof of respect and progress of every person in the area under the leadership of Shri Agnihotri. On the same lines, many beneficiaries of the area unanimously express their gratitude to Deputy Chief Minister Shri Mukesh Agnihotri and say that the work being done in the field of water management in Haroli is an example of how visionary leadership can bring about major improvement in people's lives by using resources properly.
