New Delhi, February 27- Leader of the Opposition Atishi today said that AAP MLAs were barred from entering the Delhi Assembly today after being suspended for three days. Atishi said that since coming to power, the BJP has crossed "all limits of dictatorship".
It is worth noting that on Tuesday, when the House proceedings began, Atishi and other AAP MLAs had protested against the removal of BR Ambedkar's portrait from the Chief Minister's Office. The AAP MLAs also raised slogans during Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena's speech, following which Speaker Vijender Gupta suspended 21 AAP MLAs. Party MLA from Okhla Amanatullah Khan was not included in these, as he was absent from the House during the protest.
Atishi said in a post on X, "AAP MLAs were suspended from the House for three days for raising 'Jai Bhim' slogans. And today they were stopped from entering the Assembly. This has never happened before in the history of the Delhi Assembly."
