
Punjab Governor attends convocation ceremony at Rayat-Bahra Education City

During the program, the Governor presented degrees to undergraduate and postgraduate students and wished them a bright future. In his address, the Governor said that whatever we receive from our society, it is our duty to return it and the greatest joy lies in it.
He mentioned the architect of the Constitution, Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar and said that education is the greatest weapon. Praising the new Education Policy-2020, he said that this policy gives priority to the all-round development and skill development of students. The Governor stressed on the need for more focus in universities on research.
He also spoke about the development of sports in Punjab and promoting sports to curb drug abuse. Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chancellor of Rayat-Bahar University, welcomed all the guests present at the ceremony and said that this ceremony is a symbol of the hard work and dedication of the students. . Motivating the students, he said that serving the society through education is the biggest contribution.
Campus Director Dr. Chander Mohan said that a total of 438 students were awarded degrees in the ceremony. It included 374 undergraduate and 64 postgraduate students, including 76 from Pharmacy, 109 from Engineering, 38 from Nursing, 65 from B.Ed, 15 from Law and 123 from Management.
