
Traffic Police installs reflectors on vehicles in view of foggy weather
Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, December 18, 2024: As part of the campaign launched by SSP Deepak Pareek and SP (Traffic) Harinder Singh Mann to curb road accidents in District SAS Nagar, Karnail Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Traffic, in collaboration with Sarbat Da Bhala Trust, installed reflectors on commercial vehicles (trucks, tapos, tractor trolleys, buses, tippers etc.) so that no untoward incident can occur during the foggy weather.
Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, December 18, 2024: As part of the campaign launched by SSP Deepak Pareek and SP (Traffic) Harinder Singh Mann to curb road accidents in District SAS Nagar, Karnail Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Traffic, in collaboration with Sarbat Da Bhala Trust, installed reflectors on commercial vehicles (trucks, tapos, tractor trolleys, buses, tippers etc.) so that no untoward incident can occur during the foggy weather.
The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Traffic appealed to the general public to keep the parking lights of their vehicles properly to avoid accidents during foggy weather and in case of vehicle breakdown, keep the parking blinkers on by parking your vehicle on one side of the road. Keep the reflector cone provided with the vehicle’s emergency kit at a distance of about 25-30 feet from the vehicle to signal.
Always use the indicator while turning left or right and keep a proper distance from the vehicle in front while driving on the road. All the vehicle drivers were appealed to strictly follow the traffic rules while driving on the road during foggy weather and be more careful than usual.
