
AHA - Accredited BLS and ACLS Course Successfully Conducted at Ambedkar Institute of Medical Sciences Mohali
SAS Nagar, December 16, 2024: A course based on Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) services accredited by AHA (American Heart Association) was successfully organized at Ambedkar Institute of Medical Sciences, Mohali from December 13 to 15, 2024.
SAS Nagar, December 16, 2024: A course based on Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) services accredited by AHA (American Heart Association) was successfully organized at Ambedkar Institute of Medical Sciences, Mohali from December 13 to 15, 2024.
This training program was conducted under the guidance of Director Principal Dr. Bhavneet Bharti and Head of the Department of Anesthesia (Sedation) Dr. Pooja Saxena.
Dr. Ritu Gupta, Associate Professor (Anesthesia) led the organization of this course at Ambedkar Institute of Medical Sciences, Mohali. Dr. Manpreet Dawar and Dr. Dheeraj Kapoor from GMCH-32 participated as course coordinators.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support instructors from renowned institutions including PGIMER Chandigarh, GMCH-32, GMC Patiala, PGI Satellite Centre Sangrur, MMIMSR, Ambala, Max Hospital and AIIMS Mohali contributed to the programme.
A total of 32 healthcare professionals including doctors, interns and nurses participated in the training. The course provided hands-on experience in essential skills required for high-quality resuscitation and emergency care, emphasizing the importance of timely intervention to save lives.
The programme was an effort by Ambedkar Institute of Medical Sciences Mohali to empower healthcare professionals and enhance the standards of emergency care.
