Sahil Sharma of Amb won silver medal in National Pythian Games

Una, December 16- President of Himachal Pradesh Pythian Council and Additional General Secretary of Pythian Council India and Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal on Monday honored Sahil Sharma, silver medalist in the singing competition of the National Cultural Pythian Games 2024, by presenting him a shawl and cap in his office. He congratulated Sahil and his family for this achievement. During this, Sahil's father Rajesh Sharma was also present. He thanked the Deputy Commissioner for encouraging him.

The Deputy Commissioner said that 10 participants were selected in the final round of the singing competition of the Pythian Games in which 19-year-old Sahil Sharma of Amb in Una district won the silver medal. Sahil Sharma has also been selected for the International Pythian Games to be held in Greece.
Jatin Lal said that the National Pythian Games provided a great opportunity for the youth of Himachal to showcase their talent at the national level. Soon the winners of various Pythian Games from Himachal Pradesh will be called to Una and felicitated.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the National Pythian Games were organized from 12 to 15 December at Tau Lal Stadium in Panchkula, in which 110 players from Una district as well as Himachal participated. He said that in the Pythian Games, music, dance, singing, poetry, drawing and painting, traditional games musical chair, roller musical chair, sack race, mallakhamb, yoga, arm wrestling, tug of war and tennis volleyball, martial arts Gatka, Taekwondo, Karate, Bagatur and Muaythai and revival of ancient game gadayuddha, e-sports, 50-ball cricket were organized.
Sahil Sharma has already won many medals in international and international competitions. Apart from the silver medal in the International Dance and Singing Competition held in Nepal in the year 2023-2024, he has also won a gold medal in the National Dance and Singing Championship held in Khandwa and two gold medals in the Inter-State University Competition and Voice of Himachal (Junior) in 2019. Apart from this, he has been a medal winner in many competitions.
