349th Martyrdom Day of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji celebrated with full enthusiasm

SAS Nagar, December 6: The 349th Martyrdom Day of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Gurdwara Singh Shaheed in the nearby village of Sohana. The main event of this day was the morning bhog of Shri Sahaj Path Sahib followed by religious programs throughout the day. In this religious ceremony, the International Dhadi Jatha of Bhai Sukhjit Singh Panchokhra Sahib Wale narrated to the Sangat in detail the entire episode of martyrdom given by Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji to protect Tilak-Janjhu.

Romni Preacher Bhai Somar Singh Karnal Wale told through Gurmat thoughts how Dasam Pita Ji inspired his father Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji to sacrifice his life at a young age to protect Hinduism. Bhai Sukhdeep Singh Raggi Jatha of Gurdwara Dukh Nivaran Sahib Patiala Wale tried to connect the Sangat with the Guru by immersing them in the divine words through soulful kirtan.
Apart from this, Bhai Nirbhay Singh, Bhai Gyan Singh, Bhai Harjinder Singh, Bhai Kuldeep Singh Amritsar Wale, Mitra Pyare and Kirtani Jatha, Bhai Jatinder Singh, Bhai Mahinderpal Singh, Bhai Balwinder Singh, Bhai Satinderpal Singh, Bhai Sukhwinder Singh's Jatha and other Jathas of Gurdwara Singh Shaheed Bhai Gurmeet Singh, Bhai Inderjit Singh, Bhai Jaswant Singh and Bhai Sandeep Singh enthralled the Sangat by reciting Har Jass through Katha, Kirtan, Poetry and Gurmat thoughts throughout the day.
As a main part of Martyrdom Day, thousands of people took bath in the holy pond of this place. Guru ka Langar was served in abundance.
On this occasion, the spokesperson of Guru Singh Shaheed Organizing Committee said that the Dasvin Dihada will be celebrated with full enthusiasm on 10th December. He said that on this day, after the morning bhog of Sri Sahaj Path Sahib, Hori Ragi of Sri Darbar Sahib Amritsar, International Dhadi Jatha and famous preachers of the high class sect will enthral the Sangat by reciting Hari Jass throughout the day. There will be a huge Amrit Sanchar on this day. Guru's langar will be served throughout the day.
