PSDM signs MoU with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences - Amrit Singh IAS Director Skill Development Mission Punjab

Hoshiarpur: With an aim to further strengthen the capacity of health services in the state by providing training days in the health care sector to the youth; Punjab State Skill Development Mission has signed an agreement with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences to train at least 200 candidates per year.

Giving information during an exclusive meeting with eminent educationist and journalist Sanjeev Kumar, Amrit Singh IAS Director Skill Development Mission Punjab said that a Health Centre of Excellence will also be set up at the Health Skill Development Center in collaboration with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences Faridkot.
Giving more information on this occasion, Amrit Singh said that under an agreement, skill development certificate courses like Home Health and Operating Theater Technician, Emergency Medical Technician, General Duty Assistant, Dental Assistant, Plaster Technician, Orthopedic Technician, MRI will be conducted in the city.
Mission Director Amit Singh said that PSM will provide funding, guidance and support besides assisting in the recruitment of candidates. It will also monitor the effective implementation of this program. This partnership will play an important role in providing employment to the youth of Punjab.
