146 donors donated blood in the voluntary blood donation camp organized by Voice of the People and Blood Donors Club.
Hoshiarpur- A voluntary blood donation camp was organized by Voice of the People and Blood Donors Club Area Beit (Punjab and Himachal) in the premises of Sheetla Temple at village Jhungian De Aad in district Hoshiarpur. This camp was organized under the leadership of Voice of the People Coordinator Ajaib Singh Boparai and Co-Coordinator Rakesh Prajapati in collaboration with Blood Donors Club. In this blood donation camp, the youth of the area participated with great enthusiasm and a total of 146 blood donors donated blood.

During the camp, a team led by Dr. Ekta, who came from PGI Chandigarh, collected blood. On this occasion, Ajaib Singh Boparai, Rakesh Prajapati and SDO Satwinder Singh thanked the blood donors and said that due to the increasing number of patients in PGI Chandigarh, there is a huge shortage of blood, keeping this small effort in mind. He said that it is our common responsibility to make such services successful. Blood donors and associates were also honored during the camp.
The special guests present on the occasion included former Congress MLA Love Kumar Goldy, BJP constituency in-charge Nimisha Mehta, Deputy Speaker Jai Krishna Singh Raudi, former President of Municipal Council Garhshankar Rajinder Singh Shuka, Comrade Darshan Singh Mattu, Gurnaik Singh Bhajjal, Mahendra Singh Waddoan, Dr. Naresh Kambalan, former Sarpanch Sarwan Kisana, Sarpanch Balwinder Singh Boparai, C.R. Sonu Kot, Yash Barapur, Yashpal Bhatthal, Balvir Singh Mega Numberdar, Varinder Pratap Singh, Sandeep Rana Kalewal, Ajay Dallewal, Kamal Kataria, Jathedar Jagdev Singh, Ashwani Rana, Subash Sharma, Pradeep Rangeela, Amrik Dayal, Bindu Bhumbla, Sarpanch Surinder Barapur, Paramjit Pamma Numberdar, Jagjit Singh Heer, Dr. Hem Raj, Vikas Soni, Jagdeep Rana, Sarpanch Sanjay Pipliwal, former Sarpanch Harjinder Singh, Chuhar Singh, Master Pawan Kumar and Chaudhary Baijnath Numberdar etc. were involved.
This camp proved to be a commendable initiative towards increasing awareness among the youth and motivating them towards social service.
