Female characters from the Mahabharata were presented through dance and acting.

Patiala, November 13 - On the last day of the seven-day National Theatre Festival at Kalidas Auditorium Virsa Vihar Kendra, artists of Sapnik Dance Creations Calcutta won the hearts of the audience by presenting beautiful dances under the direction of Aruna Burman. It was organized by Kalakriti Patiala and SDBCT in collaboration with North Regional Cultural Center Patiala.

It was organized by Kalakriti Patiala and SDBCT in collaboration with North Regional Cultural Center Patiala.
In which the young artists presented the female characters of the Mahabharata through their dance, their personal stories through their struggles, sacrifices and humiliation. Which lead them to such recognition in the history of India. Because the ancient epic has always taken the model of the entire heritage of the country.
According to the needs of the time, they are analyzed through different arguments. The author has discussed the characters depicted in the epic Mahabharata from different perspectives; which the artists of West Bengal (Calcutta) beautifully presented through their dance.
The presentation was conceptualized by Disha Dhar and Satbta Bera, script was prepared by Subhasridhar and music was composed by Sukhman Banerjee. Choreography was by Arunava Burman. Earlier, the team from Delhi staged the play "Taxi Free" under the direction of Sunil Chauhan, which was very much liked by the audience.
