The Chief Minister said this during a meeting with Mr. Kapil Baisla, a young shooter from village Munirgarhi in Palwal district, at Haryana Bhawan in New Delhi. On this occasion, he congratulated and wished Mr. Kapil Baisla on winning the gold and silver medals.
It is noteworthy that in the 16th Asian Shooting Championships (Junior Men's Category) held in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, Kapil Baisla gave India its first gold medal with a score of 243.01 marks in the 10m Air Pistol event. Apart from this, he also won a silver medal in another event.
The Chief Minister said that this achievement is not only a matter of pride for Mr. Kapil Baisla and his village Munirgarhi, but also enhances the pride of the entire state and the country. He wished Mr. Baisla a bright future.
